Posts of Educational Psychologist

South Lanarkshire Council Psychological Services

1 FTE Main grade (permanent)

1 FTE Main grade (temporary for 12 months)

Salary Scale - £40,128-£50,142

Location - East Kilbride or Hamilton

Enthusiastic and skilled psychologists, who are committed to using psychology to achieve the best outcomes of children and young people, are invited to apply for two full time posts which have arisen within South Lanarkshire Council Psychological Services.

The Psychological Service is very well incorporated into the Council and Education Resources planning processes and is well placed to continue to develop its service delivery in new and creative ways in partnership with its stakeholders.

Applicants must have an honours degree in psychology recognised by the British Psychological Society AND the relevant post-graduate qualification in educational psychology.

Applications must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, or at an appropriate stage of registration.

This post is excepted in terms of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 2003.
