Service Oversight & Governance Specialist
This is an extremely varied position on a 12 month fixed term contract working with a global asset manager and offering an excellent salary.
Working within the Service Oversight Governance team, you will support the functional teams in the operational oversight of their outsourced serviced providers and key suppliers to this asset management group.
You will report to the Head of Service Oversight and Governance in this technical and customer facing position which will also involve some project management.
You will be responsible for ensuring that outsourced services are delivered according to the service level terms including KPIs, MIs etc. You will also take part in service review meetings of fund / client appointed administrators, custodians, depositaries, segregated fund managers and external fund managers.
Key responsibilities will cover:
Making sure service providers are constantly monitored and reviewed
Supporting the wider third party oversight function which is moving from a quality control to a quality assurance business model
Organising and attending review meetings with TPAs including sample testing and action logging in line with audit trail
Assisting with the corporate governance process and working with Fund company secretariats
Reviewing and updating contracts against global outsourcing framework
Reviewing service provider exit plans
You should have a background in investment administration, custody and depositary
Compliance or audit experience
Corporate governance / risk experience
An asset management background ideally with previous third party oversight experience
