Media Scotland Ltd is looking for an experienced senior reporter on a permanent basis, to join our team within a fast-paced, digital-first newsroom. Media Scotland has a fast-growing website and three print editions that are bought six days a week.

You will be able to generate story ideas, write them with our digital audience in mind, create and curate further multi-media content, put together total content packages that work brilliantly on all of our platforms, and use social media to get our stories to as many people as possible and engage with them.
You will have an NCE/NQJ or equivalent and be able to produce content that is compelling, engaging and audience focused while also adhering to media law and the ISPO code.
Our newsroom rota runs seven days a week and includes evening shifts.
We expect our employees to maintain the highest personal standards of professionalism and integrity at all times within the framework of current legislation. Ensuring that Trinity Mirror's editorial and company policies are upheld across the newsroom and maintaining a thorough, up-to-date knowledge of media law and IPSO code is required.
