Electronic Assembly & Test Operator
Our client, an aerospace company based in Thornliebank, has an immediate opportunity available for an Electronic Assembly & Test Operator to join their team.
Working in a workshop / manufacturing environment
Performing assembly and test functions on items
Keeping work area and machinery in a clean and tidy condition
Ensuring Company Health and Safety procedures are complied with
Contributing towards the achievement of company KPIs
The successful Electronic Assembly & Test Operator will:
Have demonstrable assembly experience from within a manufacturing or workshop environment
Have experience in the use of general assembly tooling e.g. torque tools
Be competent in reading measuring devices e.g. multi-meters, power supplies etc.
Be able to work well with numbers
Previous experience within Aerospace is also an advantage, although not essential to be considered for this role.
The successful candidate will work initially on a temporary basis, however providing standards are met, there is the opportunity for this position to become permanent.
The Electronic Assembly & Test Operator will work hours set between 8.10am - 4.25pm Monday to Friday and receive a rate of GBP7.78 per hour + overtime paid at GBP11.67 per hour.
