Job Description

TRANSFORMATION PROJECT MANAGER
GOOD TO GREAT PROJECT
£46,074 (pro rata, 0.5 fixed term)

Dundee and Angus College has an enviable reputation across Scotland, with student outcomes and progression that are consistently amongst the best in the country. This performance is based on excellent learning and services backed up by high aspirations for our students and the College as a whole.

Building on this sector-leading position, the College is about to embark on an even more ambitious transformation to take us from ‘Good to Great'. This transformation will see us review and reform our curriculum and learning approaches and redevelop and refresh our services using service design methodologies.

The Transformation Project Manager will be at the centre of this change and will play a key role in organising and managing the workstreams and activities that will underpin the Good to Great transformation.

Educated to graduate or equivalent level (SCQF level 9), you must have extensive experience gained in the planning, management and delivery of projects with a clear organisational transformation outcome. This should be supported by extensive leadership experience gained within large/complex environments coupled with clear evidence of success within recent roles.

A specific qualification in project/transformation management and/or experience gained in an educational environment will be an advantage.

Demonstrating a positive outlook, we will expect you to show the commitment, drive and ability necessary to lead innovative and transformational change; manage and develop multifaceted projects; and plan and oversee resources with a consistent focus on achieving demonstrable outcomes.

This is a diverse and exciting role and we are looking for someone with excellent leadership, management, communication and organisational skills who can involve staff within the change process and sustain transformation through innovation, motivation and engagement of others.

This is a part-time role for 17.5 hours per week for a period of two years.

Closing date for receipt of completed application forms is Wednesday 20th September 2017.

Interviews will take place on Monday 25th September 2017.
