Casual Sports Coaches (Swimming Teachers)
West Dunbartonshire Leisure are looking to recruit assistant and lead coaches to support a growing programme within their Sports Development team (Swimming).
This role is responsible for delivering high quality sport specific sessions throughout West Dunbartonshire.
Swimming Teachers should have a minimum Level 1 UKCC Teaching Aquatics (or equivalent) and have experience of working in an aquatic environment with a variety of age groups.
A flexible approach to work is expected as you will be required to work in the evening and weekends in order to meet the needs of the service
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.
Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
