Renfrewshire Council's Invest in Renfrewshire initiative is seeking applications for our successful Graduate Intern Programme. We welcome applications from Graduates who are unemployed or who are currently working in an environment unrelated to their degree. Our programme will have a minimum of 40 Internship opportunities available throughout the year. These opportunities will suit applicants who have achieved a variety of degree disciplines as the Internships will be based within a range of local businesses, across Council service departments and within Third Sector organisations. The Graduate Intern programme offers Renfrewshire based graduates a unique opportunity to work on a specific work based project for a period of between 6 - 11 months. Graduates will work alongside, and be mentored by, experienced professionals. This will allow them to gain valuable work experience whilst enhancing their skill set. Interns are generally expected to work 35 hours per week and will receive an allowance which is slightly above the National Living Wage rate. N.B. There may be a slight variation in the hours worked with some employers. This will be agreed in advance of the internship commencing.
