Social Worker (Whole Systems/Youth Justice) (Temporary)
Based at the St James Street Centre, St James Street, Paisley. This post is temporary for up to 1 year to cover maternity leave. Renfrewshire Council is continuing to develop new and innovative approaches to working with young people and are looking to recruit a Social Worker within Additional Family and Youth Support Service. The main duties of the post are: to provide focused intervention to individuals and families; to provide care planning and care and assessment service and produce high quality Reports and recordings. It is essential you hold a DipSW/CQSW or appropriate qualification; have experience within Youth Justice / Criminal Justice / Child Care; experience of client supervision and also of multi-agency working. You should have good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively. You should be flexible in your approach; be highly motivated and committed to social work values. If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
