A change to the way in which day services are delivered on Hoy is being set up and we are looking for and enthusiastic Activity Facilitator to work alongside the Haey Hope in this new venture. The service will work with adults to promote wellbeing and implement and evaluate a wide range of social and therapeutic activities within a lunch club and in the wider community. The post holder will be line managed by a Senior Day Centre Officer and will be required to work closely with locally based colleagues in health, social services and the Third Sector.
You should hold an SVQ 2 or equivalent level qualification in Social Care.
A full driving licence is a requirement of this post and the post holder will be expected to hold or undertake training to complete a MIDAS qualification
This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with adults.
