You have knowledge and experience of pre-school children and an enthusiasm for working with children. You also are willing to undertake necessary training.
The successful applicant will be required to set up prior to sessions and tidy away after, ensure all correct paperwork is present, policies and procedures are read and understood, keep risk assessments up to date and undertake any relevant training.
You will be required to create an environment appropriate to the social, emotional and physical needs of the children using the Creche facility, working as part of a team to provide a programme of activities. Some administrative tasks will be involved.
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where applicable, this post also requires an Overseas Criminal Record Check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
