Fife Council pays the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate to employees earning less than £8.33 per hour. If the hourly rate of pay for the post is less than the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate a supplement will be paid.
You will have a degree or equivalent in Early Years Childcare and Development, Social Care/ Social Sciences, or an equivalent Community Services based qualification.
Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
You will work collaboratively with an enhanced management team and nursery staff to develop the practice and support vulnerable families using a Family Nurture Approach.
You will be registered with Scottish Social Services Council as a qualified practitioner/manager and have significant post qualification experience within a relevant environment you will provide assistance in planning and implementing of strategies relative to care and welfare of children within the nursery community.
