SW3647 - Rehabilitation Worker (Deaf)
An exciting opportunity now exists for a qualified Rehabilitation Worker to work across the Falkirk Council area.
You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing services to Falkirk Council’s sensory impaired population. This is a an opportunity for you to shape and develop service provision for both children and adults.
As part of the sensory impairment service you will be expected to undertake assessments of the individual needs of deaf and hard of hearing people and their carers, and develop appropriate rehabilitation programmes and care plans. You must have the ability to undertake a full range of skills, training, including daily living skills, communication skills, assessments in a variety of settings.
You must hold a Certificate\Diploma in Rehabilitation Deaf Studies and a minimum of BSL Level 2.
