Teacher (Literacy) - Temporary
Renfrewshire Council is embarking on an ambitious programme targeted at improving Literacy and closing the attainment gap for our most disadvantaged children. Our existing class teachers will undergo high quality professional learning development in partnership with the University of Strathclyde to improve the teaching of reading and we wish to recruit a team of full time teachers to facilitate this. You will gain experience of working across a variety of schools at a selection of different stages. Successful candidates will participate in our excellent CPD programme and benefit from experiencing the impact of this revolutionary approach in the children they teach. They will also be able to apply for permanent positions within Renfrewshire Council that arise during their employment. Apply now if you're up for this challenge or call Julie Paterson, Literacy Development Officer on 0141 618 7419 for an informal discussion.
