Business and Administration Modern Apprentice (Cashiers)
Based in Dundee House and East and West Housing Cash Offices, you will work full time, 37 hours per week, fixed term for one year. The Modern Apprentice Scheme is focused to target high youth unemployment in the Dundee Area and the funding for training is only available for candidates aged 16 to 19. Please ensure, if you are applying for a Modern Apprentice post, that you are between the ages of 16 to 19. You will be asked to bring proof of age with you if you are invited for an interview.
You will have a Secondary Education.
Working within the team responsible for the collection of monies in respect of Council Tax and other income taken at the East and West Housing Offices and Dundee House Cash Office. You will undertake practical training as well as theory to develop the knowledge, skills and experience required during the apprenticeship programme and assist in the provision of administrative services within the Corporate Services Department.
You will have good numeracy, accuracy, interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and ICT (including spreadsheets) skills. You must be committed and enthusiastic toward completing a full apprenticeship and interested in pursuing a career in Business Administration/Customer Services. A satisfactory response from Disclosure Scotland is required.
