Blairgowrie Day Opportunities
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the management team for the North Locality Day opportunities. This post has responsibilities for supporting the management of Blairgowrie (Learning Disabilities) and Strathmore (Older Adults) Day Opportunity services.
You will support the Day Opportunities Co-ordinator to provide effective service delivery and develop the service.
You should have knowledge across services relating to adults with Learning Disabilities and Older People.
You will also be required to support with effective leadership of two teams to ensure the provision of community based services are effective.
You will have responsibility for supporting with the management of the day to day running of the service and management of the staff team.
You will be responsible for supporting the provision of Day Opportunities across the North Locality (Blairgowrie area) both building based and in the community.
The Co-Ordinator will ensure that the social, physical and psychological care needs of individuals are met, and that the defined standards of care are promoted and maintained.
You will also contribute in ensuring that all human, physical and financial resources both within the unit and community are managed.
You will be expected to contribute to service developments in line with Housing & Community Care agendas.
You will have an HNC / SVQ3 in Care or Equivalent, with an expectation that the candidate will work towards gaining SVQ4.
