Cleaner & Relief Cleaner (Permanent & Temporary)

Various vacancies have arisen for cleaning posts in the Clydebank Area. The Post holder will be responsible for the provision of a high quality, responsive cleaning service. Successful candidate will be required to carry out general cleaning duties ensuring high standards are maintained at all times following Health and safety guidelines.
Details of positions are as below:
14.25 hours per week (term-time), Clydebank High School. Work pattern Monday to Thursday 10.00am-1.00pm, Friday 10.00am-12.15pm.
Temporary maternity leave cover until 29th June 2017. 16 hours per week (term-time), Clydebank High School. Work pattern Monday to Thursday 3.30pm-6.45pm, Friday 3.30pm-6.30pm.
Temporary maternity leave cover until 29th June 2017. 14.25 hours per week (term-time), Edinbarnet Primary School. Work pattern Monday to Thursday 3.00pm-6.00pm, Friday 3.00pm-5.15pm.
Relief Cleaner - 15 hours per week (term-time), various locations within the Clydebank Area to cover sickness, annual leave and any other cover that would be required in various schools and offices. (Work pattern Monday to Friday 4.00pm-7.00pm)
Fixed term until 23rd December 2016. 15 hours per week, Council Offices, Aurora House, Clydebank. Work pattern Monday to Friday 4.30pm-7.30pm.
West Dunbartonshire Council pay the Living Wage, this is included in the advertised annual salary for this role.
**This is a part time post and the salary will be pro-rata to the number of hours worked.**
The new PVG scheme replaces enhanced disclosures when undertaking work with Children or Vulnerable Adults. This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
