Harvey Nash's public sector client is recruiting for a Clerk of Works on an initial 3 month contract. The role involve working with other professional disciplines within the Strategic Asset & Capital Plan Management team and other team within the organisation to inspect and report on construction works in progress on site. This will involve making sure the work is carried out in accordance with relevant legislation/regulations and is of a high quality, you will then be expected to provide regular reports to the Project Architect or Contract Administrator on the progress.

Essential skills:

* Education to HNC or equivalent in relevant construction discipline or equivalent experience
* Experience of construction site inspection
* Experience of working on a range of construction types
* Good knowledge of building regulations
