To assist the implementation of the Scottish Government’s Digital Scotland Superfast Broadband project in Fife, leading on the delivery of local requirements in collaboration with partners.
Fife Council pays the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate to employees earning less than £8.33 per hour. If the hourly rate of pay for the post is less than the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate a supplement will be paid.
Educated to degree level in a related subject.

Assisting in the delivery of the Scottish Government Digital Scotland Superfast Broadband in Fife, maintaining contact with key Council services and other public sector agencies to ensure any barriers to delivery can be removed/resolved.
Briefing members and key stakeholders on progress towards achieving the target coverage for superfast broadband in Fife.
Advising on progress towards delivering the project, identifying and reporting on any departures from timescales and quality.
Knowledge of the telecommunications industry in relation to broadband provision.
At least three years’ experience working in an economic development background.
Established record of successfully working in partnership with business organisations and community groups.
