We are looking for a Project Worker to work with our Intensive Family Support service in a post currently funded to 31st March 2017..

Barnardo's Child & Family Support Service, based in Kirkcaldy is a partnership between Barnardo's, Fife Council, Fife Alcohol & Drug Partnership and NHS Fife.

The Service has approx 40 staff and incorporates:

Intensive Family Support for children (aged 0-11) in Kirkcaldy and Levenmouth area and with specific funding for families where there is parental substance misuse through the CAPSM service Fife wide. 
Parenting Capacity Assessments Fife wide to assist with decision making and planning for vulnerable children. 
Substance Misuse Education for mainstream schools and off-campus education settings. 
Children's Rights Service for Looked After Children.

You will have: 
Knowledge of working with children and families with a range of complex needs and issues 
Experience and commitment to working in partnership with other agencies 
An understanding of issues facing vulnerable children and young people 
SVQ III/HNC or equivalent
