Mobile Hospitality Assistant will carry out catering and cleaning duties as required/directed by line supervisor.
Fife Council pays the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate to employees earning less than £8.33 per hour. If the hourly rate of pay for the post is less than the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate a supplement will be paid.
Duties may include basic food/beverage preparation and setting up for functions, clearing away tables and general cleaning of function area. Clean designated areas, ensuring that they are maintained to a clean and hygienic standard.
Duties of this post may include cash handling.
Cleaning duties described apply to any part of the establishment, the frequency/allocation of the duties being designated by the authority. Designated areas may include changing rooms, shower areas toilets associated with swimming pools, but not the pool or its immediate surround. Major cleans at specific times of the year are included in the duties; these will be dealt with by the allocation of the necessary number of hours; additional payments above Grade 1 hourly rate are not appropriate.
“Cleaning, washing, polishing” includes the use of all approved cleaning agents.
“Fixtures and Fittings” include all facilities within the establishment ie. cabinets, internal glass, curtains, blinds and telephones.
Keys may be held by a cleaner, for the purpose of entering/leaving areas which require to be cleaned.
You may be asked on a daily basis to move from one establishment to another to provide cover. Some degree of flexibility in working.
