Head of Service Delivery, Children's Services
Highly Competitive Package, based Stirling

Founded in 1998 with a vision and one children's residential home, Care Visions has grown to be the largest independent provider of residential child care services and one of the leading foster care providers in Scotland.

Following a period of rapid development, Care Visions is now recruiting for a Head of Service Delivery, to join our Children's Services Executive Team reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Care Visions seeks to provide person-centred, nurturing care for young people giving them the best possible chance to develop the positive future they deserve. We invest heavily in models of care that differentiate us and provide the best outcomes for the young people in our care.

This exciting new role will develop and lead the delivery of high quality care for children and young people across the combined Residential and Fostering businesses in Scotland. We pride ourselves on innovative and high quality child-centred care and expect the services we deliver to exceed the highest regulatory standards and best practice. We will expect the successful candidate to bring ambition and innovation in contributing to our therapeutic model development (we currently use Sanctuary and Theraplay based techniques), and in delivering our ground-breaking ‘Why Not?' programme for those leaving care.

Candidates for this role will have extensive professional social work experience and appropriate qualifications in providing services to children and young people. This will be combined with strong leadership, high commercial awareness and excellent communication skills. Exposure to public and independent services would be advantageous, as would experience of operating at Board level. The candidate will be expected to deputise for the Managing Director of Children's Services and therefore requires strategic business acumen as well as excellent professional practice abilities.

Closing date for applications - 7 th October 2016.
