Pupil Support Assistant (PKC02377)
£9,196 - £10,036 (23 hours per week, term-time only)
Perth High School

You will have knowledge and experience of children and young people and are interested in pursuing a career working in an educational environment. You have a mature approach to emotionally demanding work, can use your own initiative and have the ability to respect confidentiality. Experience of working with children and / or young people with additional support needs is desirable as is the ability to communicate effectively with children who have a range of learning difficulties.

You will be required to provide general supervision and care of children, including those with additional support needs in an educational environment.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and / or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The successful candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made.
