Community Payback Order is a court sentence which requires an offender to make reparation to the community for their offending by completing unpaid work for set number of hours.

The role of Case Managers is to plan, supervise, enforce and review Unpaid Work Orders in the community. Determining the best tailored placements for offenders (whilst always considering the individual risk present) and then motivating them to comply, offers a unique opportunity to assist offenders to obtain new skills, increase their employment opportunities and lower the likelihood of re-offending, whilst they undertake appropriate work in our local areas.

The ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships is essential, as is the need to have excellent communication skills and comply with Perth & Kinross Council's policies and procedures as well as legilsation from Scottish Parliament. The successful candidate must have good I.T. and record keeping skills. We are looking for individuals who can work on their own initiative and as part of a team committed to working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high performance.
