Job Description
Leisure & Culture Dundee is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) SC042421. It was established by Dundee City Council in July 2011 to deliver leisure, sports, library, information and cultural services for the city. www.leisureandculturedundee.com Sports Coaches are required to deliver Netball classes within a new citywide sports programme. This post is for casual hours in multiple locations in the city. When work is available you will be contacted. There is no obligation for Leisure and Culture Dundee to offer you work, nor are you obliged to accept work. The rate of pay is £8.69 per hour.

Requirements
You will have the minimum qualifications required for the post, a Netball Scotland Level 1 plus relevant delivery experience.

Responsibilities
As a Sports Coach you will lead in the teaching/coaching of a variety of client groups of varying ability. You will assist the delivery of a progressive and developmental programme, maintaining and updating participant records, checking all teaching equipment and ensuring that a safe and comfortable environment is provided at all times.

The Individual
You will have a general interest in netball and have experience of working with participants of all ages and abilities. You must be able to work effectively with a variety of professional partners, parents and children and possess excellent communication skills. You must have excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to work in a team and work independently. You must be strongly self motivated and can communicate effectively with children and young people. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential and you must be flexible and adaptable. Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekend work where required and willing to undertake personal development. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
