NSL is the UK's leading enforcement services company. Due to continued growth we are currently recruiting for Parking Attendants to be based in Edinburgh. In Edinburgh we employ 140 colleagues across two bases; North side of the City Centre at Broughton Market (just off Dublin Street) and Lower Gilmore Place, West side of the City Centre (close to Tollcross). Both locations are central to public transport and free on street parking within a 10 minute walk.



The role will require you to work in conjunction with Edinburgh City Council to enforce legislation and the Council's policies in respect of parking controls. You will be responsible for; Issuing Penalty Charge Notices to vehicles in contravention of the regulations, as well as authorising vehicles for removal action in line with contract guidelines.



The ideal candidate will have

The ability to communicate with customers, often in demanding circumstances
Previous experience in a customer service environment
Strong communication skills with good written and spoken English
PC literate
Trustworthy to independently patrol beats and carry out enforcement role
Flexible as you will be required to work shifts
Must enjoy working in the outdoors and in all weather conditions
Enjoying walking, as you will be required to walk up to 15 miles per shift



You will be required to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays) Shifts vary and could include nights. Working hours from 08:00 - 18:45. Flexibility for the role is essential.
