Education Resources are committed to the education, care and welfare of young people in a childcare environment.

We are looking to appoint a headteacher who is required to:

Manage the affairs of the school to the benefit of the pupils and the wider community in compliance with the requirements of the statutes relating to the provision of education and the general duty of care owed to staff and pupils.

Formulate clear aims for the school and policies to ensure their achievement within the framework of the Council’s policies.

Ensure the communication of these aims and policies to all staff, pupils, parents and other users of the school.

Act on behalf of the Council, as principal professional adviser to the school board and to provide to the board such advice and information as is required by the School Boards (Scotland) Act 1988 and the Education (Scotland) Act 1996.
