Product Manager - Credit Cards

The incumbent will combine outstanding analytical and commercial capabilities, a strong sense for the Customer and a proven track record of delivering complex, market-facing products and services, to lead the development, enhancement and growth of our new and existing credit card and payment products.

This crucial role will be responsible for product and proposition management, customer experience, as well as ensuring the delivery of an appropriate risk management and governance framework for the credit card product.

You'll be:

Developing product roadmap and strategy, working across the Credit Card team, to enable the delivery of market-leading value propositions, outstanding customer experience and fair customer outcomes
Designing and developing new credit card products and features, managing the end-to-end NPD lifecycle from initiation to product launch; Lead the development of go-to-market plans for product launches
Overseeing the product development pipeline and lead cross-functional teams to implement product enhancements; working with various stakeholders to continuously improve product features and resolve any defects and/or gaps
Managing the product lifecycle, monitor product profitability metrics and optimise product portfolio based on approved product strategy
Working across the Group and with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for developing products and propositions that deliver value to customers and the wider organisation
Leading initiatives for the Cards team to deliver a simple, integrated and responsive customer experience, including process improvements and transition to a digital-first banking experience
Working with various stakeholders in the organisation to drive the innovation agenda, including emerging and new payment methods

You'll bring:

Extensive experience in an analytical and commercial role within the financial services industry, preferably in credit cards
Strong experience in product management in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a credit card business
A highly commercial approach with outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills and a strong customer instinct
Experience with P&L management and financial analysis, ideally with data manipulation techniques, SAS and/or SQL
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills - ability to communicate with impact and articulate complex data to a wide array of audiences
A track record of delivery in complex environments; High level of resourcefulness and excellent organisational /program management skills
Strong influencing and relationship-building skills, across all organisational levels
Passion for delivering the best product/service to the customer
Degree in a highly quantitative area, e.g., Engineering or Economics (preferred)
