Job Vacancy

An enthusiastic, motivated individual is required to assist in delivering quality sport and leisure services at the above location. The main tasks involve reception duties, operating a computerised till, the set up and recovery of equipment, dealing with bookings and telephone enquiries, advising customers, maintaining records and supervising the reception area.

The jobholder must have excellent communication and customer care skills with some practical experience or demonstration of competency in the use of word processing and standard PC software packages. Reception experience and working with the public is desirable.

Hours of Work: 20 Hours per Week

Working Pattern: Monday – Thursday: 17:00 – 22:00

Weeks per year: 52

Closing Date: Friday 30 September 2016

Interview Date: Monday 13 October 2016

Please note that it is Midlothian Councils policy that successful applicants will be appointed to the first point on the salary scale.

Based on you working 20 hours over 52 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £8,693.18 per annum.
