Social Worker (Community Mental Health Team) - (1 Full Time Post & 1 Part Time Post)

There are 2 posts available Post 1 is 35 Hours per week Temporary (£31006 - £35496) Post 2 is 21 Hours per week Permanent (£18603 - £21297) You will provide assessment and care management services to people with mental health difficulties. You must hold a BA (Hons) in Social Work or equivalent and be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council. Applications from Mental Health Officers and Practice Teachers are desirable. An additional allowance is payable to practicing MHO's.
It is essential you have experience in assessment and care management; working in a multi-disciplinary setting and familiar with local authority systems and processes. You must have effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to prioritise your workload; work as part of a team as well as on your own; use various IT packages; have good assessment and writing skills; able to organise and deliver care management responsibilities and must be reliable and able to act on your own initiative. You must have a flexible approach; be highly motivated and committed to social work values. Full training and support will be given to ensure that you are able to maintain the department's commitment to continuous improvement.
