Location: Marischal College
Duration: Full Time, Fixed Term up to 52 weeks

Job Purpose:
As a member of an integrated multi-disciplinary team for Adult Social Care Services to co-ordinate services based on the individual’s assessed needs. This will have a strong focus on providing person centred planning and support whilst maintaining the person’s independence to safely live at home or in their community and supporting carers with relevant services to enable the carer to maintain their roles.


The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:

HNC / SVQ level 3 in Social Care or equivalent or willingness to obtain within a specific time period.
PVG for children and adults


The post holder is expected to demonstrate:

Ability to develop and maintain systems and procedures to support the work of the service
Ability to continually evaluate information and develop practical business orientated solutions
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with service users’, staff, carers and internal/external professionals to achieve improved outcomes for service users
The ability to work accurately with detailed information; specifically around financial responsibilities and accountability for all expenditure made on behalf of clients / carers
The ability to produce high quality written and electronic reports
Interviewing, investigation and assessment skills (including finance), person centred planning, developing, monitoring and evaluating agreed outcomes
The ability to prioritise, plan and manage workload and to manage constant and often conflicting demands
Ability to manage priorities, time and meet deadlines
The ability to work proactively and with limited direct supervision, while at the same time recognising when matters need to be referred to a more senior manager
The ability to promote the role of Resource Co-ordinator internally and externally
