Location: Royal Cornhill Hospital - Integrated Alcohol Service
Duration: Permanent, Full Time
To deliver a statutory social work/care management service to individuals with substance misuse problems as part of an Integrated Alcohol Service (IAS) or Integrated Drugs Service (IDS).
The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
Professional Social Work Qualification (BA Social Work qualification or equivalent DipSW, CQSW)
The post holder is expected to demonstrate:
Ability to relate to, communicate and work with a wide range of professionals, service users and carers
Ability to manage risk
Interviewing and investigation skills
Assessment skills (including finance)
Ability to manage constant and often conflicting demands
Ability to make decisions and take responsibility for own practice, seeking advice and support as necessary
Ability to organise and manage own workload in the context of the demands of a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to maintain an outcome and recovery focus
Counselling and support skills
