Rate of Pay: £9.79-£10.73 per hour
Permanent part time vacancy
Guaranteed hours of 14 per week (and usually up to 25)
Days and hours of work each week will vary as required and will include days, evenings and weekends

This vacancy is advertised on behalf of enjoyleisure, part of Enjoy East Lothian Ltd, a charitable organisation which delivers services for East Lothian Council.

Dunbar Leisure Pool is the ultimate centre for aquatic fun for all the family.  The café, situated on the poolside, is very busy, catering for all the visitors to the Leisure Pool, by providing a variety of hot and cold food, snacks, meals and drinks.

We're looking for a dynamic individual with good customer care skills and innovative ideas.  You should be organised, responsive and have managerial skills to lead a team of café assistants to provide a first class service for our customers.  You will be required to use your own initiative to identify opportunities to maximise income and be competitive with other local cafes and fast food outlets.

To ensure the effective day to day running of the cafeteria facilities within Dunbar Leisure Pool.

Relevant Qualifications
There are no formal essential qualifications required for this post but applicants must be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.

PVG Membership
This post is considered as Regulated Work with vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.

All preferred candidates for posts carrying out regulated work with these groups will be required to become a PVG Scheme member, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if they are already a member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made by East Lothian Council.
