Customer Service Assistant (Part-time) (2 Posts)
North Lanarkshire Council’s Contact Centre deals with a wide range of services including Housing and Property Repairs and Environmental Services. We are currently recruiting for our out-of-hours service, based between Motherwell and Coatbridge. To provide the highest level of customer service, we seek to recruit staff with experience of working in a busy, customer focused or contact centre environment. Ideally, you will have experience of Housing and/or Corporate Property Repairs, however, comprehensive training will be provided.
An effective team player with excellent verbal, written communication and IT skills, you will be able to demonstrate excellent customer care and call handling skills together with the ability to take ownership of decisions.
A flexible approach to work, the ability to prioritise tasks and a willingness to learn and evolve with the service as it develops, are also essential requirements.
Although fixed shifts apply to posts, there will be a need for flexibility between the shift patterns.
Week 1: Wednesday and Friday, 4.30pm - Midnight
Week 2: Saturday and Sunday, 4.30pm - Midnight
