Teacher of Mandarin, The James Young High School, 15.16 hours per week, closing date 25th September 2016

The James Young High School is a six year comprehensive In Livingston South, which serves the communities of Bankton, Bellsquarry, Dedridge and Williamston primary schools.  We are supported by an active Parent Council. The roll for session 2016-2017 is 1130 pupils. Around twenty five percent of our pupils are enrolled as placing requests from outwith the catchment.

We are looking an enthusiastic and skilled Teacher of Mandarin with drive and ambition, who is committed to improvement and excellence.   The James Young High School hosts the Confucius Classroom, to promote Mandarin Language and Chinese Culture. It offers a positive dimension to all curriculum areas and helps raise pupils’ aspirations and attainment, preparing them for working and living in an increasingly competitive, global economy.
