Sessional Social Care Officer (PKC02315)
£9.79 per hour
Various Locations within Perth & Kinross

We are looking to recruit Sessional Social Care Officers for Parkdale Care Home in Auchterader; Beechgrove House Care Home in Perth and Dalweem Care Home in Aberfeldy.

The care homes provide permanent and respite care placements for older people.

Successful candidates will provide supply cover within the service(s) as required.

Please state on your application which care home(s) would be your preferred location.

We operate a 12 hour shift pattern. Shorter shifts are also required to during peak periods. Night shift allowance is payable for night duty worked.

The Individual

The successful canditates will work as part of a team to deliver high standards of care and support to service users.

The successful candidates will have effective communication skills and appreciate the needs, wishes and aspirations of older people and how best to support them and their carer’s in the care home setting.

You will be required to register with the SSSC as a Practitioner in a Care Home service, therefore an SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable.
