Our Learning Provision at our two schools which are in Lanarkshire Stanmore House School and in Renfrewshire at Corseford School provide for the educational, care and therapeutic needs of children and young people with complex additional support needs.  We are developing our services and need some exceptional people to join us in our work.  We want to hear from you if you believe you have the personal attitude and professional skills to make a real difference to children and young people's lives.



Job Role and Responsibilities

We are currently looking to recruit Class Teachers to teach pupils with complex physical and additional support needs at Stanmore House School. You will adapt your teaching style to meet the needs and abilities of individual pupils and class groups. You will be required to offer a varied curriculum, following Curriculum for Excellence and linked to standards in mainstream schools, National 1 and 2 and ASDAN levels.  The role will involve a degree of physical activity.



Experience/qualifications/key skills required:

The successful applicant will have a first degree, with GTC (Scotland) registration in the relevant sector. You will have proven experience in a similar environment and will be an excellent team player.  Experience of working with students with additional support needs is desirable.
