Hourly Rate Depending on Experience
ASA Recruitment client is a leading organisation based in Glasgows City Centre are seeking a Temporary Credit Controller to join their growing team. This is a temporary assignment with an immediate start.
Job Description
Your main duties will include managing recovery of monies, accurately reporting debt on a monthly basis, supporting the credit control manager, producing and sending monthly credit statements, dealing with all customer and internal queries in a professional manner and within an acceptable timeframe.
Main duties will include:
Review ledgers to assess age of debts
Contact external clients to facilitate timely debt collection
Keep an up to date log of all conversations regarding outstanding debts
Research potential new customers to assess credit worthiness using on-line tools
Ensure customer queries are dealt with in a timely and effective manner
Allocating payments
Provide weekly summary of outstanding customer queries
Notify the Finance Manager promptly of bad or potentially bad debtors
Successful candidate must have prior credit control experience and be able to start immediately. Confidence and enthusiasm is essential as this role requires a great deal of customer contact, so candidates must have the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels. Experience with systems such as Oracle, JDE or SAP would be advantageous. To apply for this vacancy please submit your CV.
