ASA Recruitment's client based in the north of Aberdeen is looking to recruit a Design Services Manager to join their Design Services team. Your main purpose will be to oversee the progress of design projects from contract award to issue of design deliverables.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Provide cost estimates for provision of design services
Be responsible for the progress if project design elements such as planning and scheduling of procedures, calculations and drawings
Identify resource requirements and manage Design Teams
Ensure project elements are checked and reviewed according to QA procedures
Manage Drawing Office resources to ensure project milestones are attained
Conduct recruitment, training, appraisal and discipline activities for drawing office staff
Administer Drawing Office systems, records and registers, including welding procedures/qualifications
