ASA's client is going through a period of growth and will be expanding the Financial Services Audit team in Edinburgh. They are currently recruiting at Senior Associate, Manager and Senior Manager level.
The Scottish Financial Services (FS) Assurance practice, based in Edinburgh, brings together specialists across the financial services industry to provide audit and non-audit services to a broad range of clients. Our clients include many of the most prestigious institutions in the banking, insurance and investment management sectors, based in Edinburgh and beyond.
Requirements
CA / ACCA qualified or equivalent
Experience of working with IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP
Relevant experience at the level of Senior, Manager or Senior Manager within Financial Services Industry audit.
Flexibility in your approach to meeting goals as part of the team
Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and clients at all levels
A proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships
A proactive approach to problem solving and delivering client solutions
It is essential that candidates have audit experience within a Financial Services client base. You will have experience of interacting with clients at all levels and developing/maintaining business relationships, ideally in the areas of Investment and fund management, Insurance and banking services. Experience of financial reporting and in particular SAS 70, IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, SOX and international standards on auditing will be important.
