ASA's Commercial Team are currently recruiting for a Senior Marketing Consultant role. Our client is a financial services firm based in the centre of Edinburgh.
Responsibilities include:
To proactively devise and ensure implementation of specific communications programmes and associated activities to maintain and enhance the favourable reputation of the Group.
To plan, direct and control day to day operation of their team.
Devise communication plans and programmes in support of business objectives together with budget proposals. Evaluate own/team action plans and programmes to ensure maximum benefit to the Group consulting/seeking guidance where appropriate.
Provide professional advice and guidance to executives, management and staff (including own team) on business/communication issues seeking appropriate approval on leading issues.
Proactively manage issues of importance to the Group maximising positive and minimising negative impact.
Anticipate and alert appropriate executives to potential issues, advising of suitable courses of action.
Provide advice, guidance and direction to business units in order to determine their communication requirements, identifying and meeting clients needs and resolving conflicts of interest where appropriate.
Manage day to day workflow and operations of the team, providing guidance and support to team members where appropriate to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Recruit, manage, motivate, develop and appraise team members ensuring individual and collective performance meets required standards.
Identify, develop and maintain productive working relationships with key influential individuals/ organisations
Represent the Group and act as Group spokesperson at external events such as conferences as appropriate.
Write/produce complex or sensitive communications and undertake editing of team members work.
Manage and control own delegated budget, undertaking effective monitoring and taking action to correct variances, reporting as appropriate
