ASA Recruitment's client is one of Edinburgh's leading institutions, and are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and enthusiastic, part qualified accountant for the Financial Accounting team in Reporting and Controls area of the Finance Shared Service Centre (FSSC).
The main role shall be, but not limited to assisting in the provision of monthly accounting and financial controls of Self Invested Funds of a given area, with the focus of ensuring that account balances are correctly stated in the general ledger.
The ideal candidate should have proven Analytical and PC skills, with experience of project work, and a quality knowledge of accounting practice along with exposure to a Financial Service environment within a large organisation.
The ideal candidate must be organised and flexible individual who can act on their own initiative, as well having the ability to work within team and being able take and deal with tasks upon request.
The candidate should be an excellent communicator, and knowledge of IFRS reporting would be an advantage.
This role is offered on a Permanent contract with great potential to further a career within the Financial and Accountancy Service.
