ASA Recruitment's client is an electrical services specialist. They are highly skilled in the installation, commissioning and maintenance of complex electrical control systems for the heavy industrial and manufacturing sectors.
Their Controls & Systems team has grown consistently for 6 years and the company are continuing to win major projects with manufacturers across Scotland.
They are currently seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to grow the team.
Your experience will most likely be from a manufacturing environment in either a maintenance or installation/commissioning capacity. You will have an excellent knowledge of PLC and SCADA control systems and be comfortable programming from scratch or reprogramming to maximise efficiencies.
The company work with many clients, all of whom use different logic controllers. Any experience with Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi or other controllers/software systems will be beneficial and ideally you will have worked with a variety of systems.
The role is day based, Monday to Friday. Of course, you will often be based on the end client's site.
Key Skills:
- Experienced Controls Engineer
- PLC/SCADA Programming Experience
- Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi (or combination of) systems
- Manufacturing engineering background preferred
