Company Profile: ASA Recruitment's client is a market leader in the wind energy sector and they are looking to recruit a Permanent Wind Farm Technician based in the Aberdeen area.
Job Profile: Working in a team of two you will be carrying out maintenance on Wind Turbines and responding to any break downs on the equipment. This will include fault finding on High Voltage, PLC, Three Phase and Single Phase systems, maintaining gearbox and hydraulic systems, and working to schematic drawings. Working hours will be between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday and roster for weekend cover.
Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate should be qualified to ONC or HNC Electrical Electronics or Mechanical Engineering, be from the same or similar background, or ideally from Heavy Engineering, Coal board, Oil and Gas, Industrial & Manufacturing, or ex forces. You must posses a full clean driving licence as a van will be supplied for accessing site.
