ASA Recruitment's client, based in the Bridge of Don area of Aberdeen, is the world's leading crane management, engineering and maintenance contractor, operating on over 200 platform locations worldwide.
Working within the Engineering Services department and reporting to the Engineering Services Manager, the role exists to provide a Project Management service and Electrical Engineering for various divisions and commercial clients. Responsible for the completion of allocated work to the satisfaction of line management and clients.
Primary roles;
Preparation of proposals and tenders.
Administration of assigned project files.
Liaison with clients and subcontractors.
Preparation of calculations and work procedures.
Completion of purchase requisitions.
Arrange equipment dispatch and transportation.
Compilation of job close-out reports.
Preparation of engineering invoice drafts and financial control of assigned projects.
Ensure planning, technical integrity and completion of engineering activities.
Control and organisation of projects.
Interdepartmental liaison.
Technical and commercial involvement in the preparation of tenders and bids.
Administration of assigned projects files.
Liaison with clients and subcontractors.
Preparation of calculations and work procedures.
Completion of purchase requisitions and engineering invoice drafts.
Arrange equipment dispatch and transportation.
Undertake offshore surveys and provide an administration and technical support function for major offshore project implementation. Compilation of job close out reports.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of an HNC in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field as required for Membership of the Institution of Electrical Engineers and experience in the application of project engineering knowledge within the offshore oil and gas industry or crane industry. You will also come with working knowledge of power circuits and electrical circuits. Previous offshore experience essential and a CompEX certificate is desirable.
